WARD – MITTON
Activities
Throughout the year newsletters have been written and delivered in the ward. Projects carried out have been Residential Parking Scheme in Vernon Rd, also at Mitton Close (on going).
Traffic Calming in Stagborough Way is being looked at with Speed Tubes being installed in the first instance. I have been able to facilitate the erection of an extra 3 lighting columns in Raven St.
Working close with Council Officials the ward is kept free of litter by responding to constituents who let me know if they have a problem, and the same applies with Anti Social Behaviour.
Council Activities
As a Cabinet Member for Corporate and Customer Services I am involved with senior council officials in the day to day running of the council. This means I sit in on Scrutiny meetings and attend the Audit Committee.
I am a Governor at St Wulstans RC Primary and also at Hartlebury C of E Primary Schools and a Trustee at the Queen Elizabeth 1st Foundation
