Activities
Over the past year, I have been involved in many aspects of Ward work, responding to any problems or complaints ranging from problems with planning, overgrown trees, car parking difficulties, road surface deficits, housing issues, and problems relating to inappropriate youth activities such as dangerous skate boarding, cycling and drug activity in conjunction with the police.
I have attended all Partners and Communities Together (PACT) and Tenant's Association Meetings, responded to any issues arising from these meetings and going on regular walkabouts through the estate to identify any problem areas. I have also supported the provision of a play area for the children and installation of a mugger for the older youths.

Achievements During the Year
My main interest has been on any health issues and as such, have attended as an observer all Worcestershire Acute Trust Board and Primary Care Trust Board Meetings. This afforded me an opportunity to submit questions to the Boards ranging from cancelled operations, bed occupancy, waiting lists and loss of services, inappropriate discharges, difficulties in parking, out of hours service. All answers are fully minuted.
