ANNUAL REPORT OF ACTIVITIES 2010/11
Ward Activities this year, including outside bodies:
I have advised residents on various queries. I have also been involved in Stourport Forward, Elizabeth Mills Community Centre, Age Concern, Stourport Town Council, Wilden Village Hall and Stourport Carnival Committee.
Highlights:
All the following are in the Mitton Ward – Tesco, Arab Investments, Vale Road Car Park, Parsons Chain Development, Civic Centre, Churchill Development, road and sewerage maintenance, Hartlebury common, gypsy and traveller sites in Sandy Lane and the concern between business people in the area. Millfield Estate roads still not made up. Constant calls from residents regarding damage to cars, etc. Traffic in the town – no help from county. Taylor Wimpey new build power station.
Special Knowledge:
I know my town well and obviously the residents contact me direct to explain what is taking place and the Council's aims. I am a good salesman and use those skills to help the residents in my ward to overcome difficulties.
