ANNUAL REPORT OF ACTIVITIES 2010/11
Ward Activities this year, including outside bodies:
Most of the Ward activity, in common with many other Councillors, I suspect, has related to the potholed state of the roads. I have however dealt with many other issues raised by residents. Included in outside activities formed part of the Committee to scrutinise new car parking arrangements and recently appointed to represent WFDC on the Wyre Forest GP Commissioning Consortia Advisory Group.
Highlights:
Ensuring that screening trees planted on Habberley Play Area were evergreen rather that deciduous as had been proposed by Community Housing thus ensuring screening all the year round. Hopefully getting some commitment, with the support of Councillor Hart, to at long last get Selba Drive resurfaced. This was ignored when the remainder of the adjacent Habberley Estate was resurfaced some 18 months ago.
