ANNUAL REPORT OF ACTIVITIES 2010/11
Ward Activities this year, including outside bodies:
Ward work helping constituents with problems relating to education, transport, housing, parking and other confidential matters.
Assisting with the development of play areas. Attending PACT (Partners and Communities Together) meetings and dealing with local issues arising from these meetings. Attending meetings with the youth and sporting organisations including Community Action Newtown. Being involved with WFDC committees and work arising from these.
Highlights:
Working on the steering committee to redevelop the Stourport Civic Centre.
Helping to get funds for playground development.
Special Knowledge:
Experience of being a County Councillor.
As a retired businessman with 50 years of experience of management, I can bring the principles of the commercial world to a public body. Being a people person I can communicate and help resolve problems.
