Conditions / Reason for Refusal: (1) This ‘Notice of Consent’ shall be extant for a period of 2 years from the date of this Notice. Should the works approved under this consent not be undertaken within this period, then a further Tree Preservation Order application would be required. Reason

As recommended by the Communities and Local Government, to allow the Council to vary or revoke Tree Preservation Orders in future as necessary

(2) No later than 7 days before works are to be carried out on the tree, written notice shall be given to the Local Planning Authority of the date when works shall commence. No works shall commence until the applicant’s nominated contractor has discussed the works on site with a representative of the Local Planning Authority. Reason

To ensure that only works approved under this consent are undertaken, which should prevent inappropriate works to the tree

(3) Consent is hereby granted for the works to the tree(s) subject to the limitations specified in the schedule attached hereto. All works shall be carried out in accordance with the schedule and in compliance with British Standard BS 3998:1989 “Recommendations for Tree Work”. Reason

To define the extent of the permission and in accordance with Policy D.4 of the Adopted Wyre Forest District Local Plan.

SCHEDULE OF WORKS Only the following works shall take place: Cedar No. 1 - Remove deadwood, Cut back branches over the house to 1 metre inside the front elevation of the dwelling. Cut back two lower branches over Franche Road to the boundary wall. Cedar No. 2 – Cut back large low limb overhanging the garage by a maximum of 50% All pruning must take account of the tree’s naturalistic form.
